Cohorts
We believe that growth takes place over time and in the context of community. We provide various cohort-based opportunities each
academic year to help individuals lead in business and society, support couples in their marriages,
and train vocational ministers in the context of the local church
Registration takes place in the Spring for the Marketplace, Marriage, and Vocational Ministry Cohorts
The Chicago Plan is Holy Trinity Church's residential training program devoted to training emerging pastors, church planters, and full-time Christian workers. Over the last 2 decades, we have been privileged to train over 100 interns and residents. The schedule follows the general academic calendar, beginning in October and ending in May. The curriculum consists of three parts: classroom instruction, ministry experience, and mentorship.

Vocational Ministry Cohort
The Burnham Fellowship provides the theological, spiritual, and relational foundations required for meaningful and sustainable integration of faith and work in our urban context. Over the course of our 9 months together we work to reveal how our culture has and is shaping us and we seek to be counter-formed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through deep theological reflection and readings, personal and communal spiritual formation practices, as well hands-on projects to impact our neighborhoods and city.

Marketplace Cohort
Holy Trinity’s marriage ministry’s curriculum, Re-Engage, is an opportunity to study, individually, as a couple and in a confidential, authentic group setting, how God would have us live our married lives. It is first and foremost a discipleship curriculum encouraging couples to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and to see their marriages through the lens of the Gospel. The Re-Engage curriculum brings out the predictable issues that all couples will encounter during their married lives and how God would have each of us respond to them.

Marriage Cohort
Registration takes place each Fall for the Culture & Theology Cohort
Culture and Theology Cohorts allow us to dig deep and spend significant time working through culturally relevant topics together. They run the course of the school year and meet monthly for 2 hours. Cohorts allow for deeper theological reflection, greater breadth in reading, and more time for cohort discussion than we have in an 8-week course.
We’re thrilled to announce the Cohort for the 2024-25 academic year: Life in Our Splintered World: How the Lordship of Christ Unifies All of Life. This Cohort will meet approximately once a month on Friday evening and include dinner and childcare.
